SAFETY-CRITICAL TRAINING
Safety training records that hold up when it matters most
Integrity Advocate's online proctoring confirms the right person completed every safety course, backed by verified identity, human review, and documented evidence.
In safety-critical work, training has real-world consequences
The people completing safety training may be operating equipment, working at height, entering hazardous environments, or making decisions that affect the safety of everyone around them. When the stakes are this high, you need confidence that the person doing the job is the person who completed the training.
Stats (According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2024):
5,070
workers lost their lives to workplace injuries in the U.S. in 2024, about one every 104 minutes
2.5 million
nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses reported by U.S. private-industry employers in 2024

THE MISSING LAYER
A completion record tracks progress, while a verified record shows who did the work.
Moving safety training online made it affordable for crews, contractors, and shift workers. It also removed the person at the front of the room who checked ID and watched the test. Integrity Advocate puts that check back, without the travel, the testing room, or the IT tickets.
What your record can prove
A completion record answers one question: was the course finished? A verified record answers the ones that come after an incident or audit.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
Training records get tested at the worst possible moment
A regulator, an insurer, a client, or a court will each ask the same question: can you show the right person completed the training and understood it?
Incident investigations
Investigators look past the completion date. They want to know who sat the assessment and how.
Audits and regulatory reviews
Inspectors and accreditors can ask for the evidence behind a certificate, not just the certificate.
Client and prequalification reviews
Owners and contractors check worker training through ISNetworld and Avetta. A verified record backs every certificate.
Claims and due diligence
"We assigned the course" is a weak defence. A verified record shows the worker completed it themselves.

STANDARDS YOU'RE MEASURED AGAINST
Built for the requirements your program already answers to
Most safety rules ask for an outcome, not a tool. ANSI/ASSP Z490.1-2024 and CSA Z1001 set accepted practices for evaluating training and keeping records. OSHA's Outreach program asks trainers to verify each student's identity. Integrity Advocate produces the evidence behind both.
We don't certify programs to these standards. We help you produce the records they call for.
HOW IT WORKS
Your program stays the same, the record gets stronger.
Keep your approved content, instructors, and LMS. Add verified identity, participation monitoring, and a defensible record of who passed.
Nothing to rebuild
Your approved content, instructors, and LMS stay as they are. Proctoring sits at the session, not in the curriculum.
Identity verified in the browser
Workers show a photo ID and take a live photo. Nothing to download or install.
Participation documented
The session follows the rules your program sets and builds a time-stamped record as the worker goes.
A person reviews every flag
Automated detections are prompts, not verdicts. A trained reviewer checks each one in context, and your program makes the final call.
WHERE IT FITS
Built for the way your workforce trains
Field crews, shift workers, and drivers rarely test at a desk. Proctoring has to work on their device, in their language, wherever they are.
Available in 65+ languages, on any device.
Construction
OSHA 10 and 30, NCCER module tests, and site orientations completed by the worker whose name is on the card, with records your general contractor and prequalification portal can rely on.
Energy, pipelines & utilities
Verified knowledge evaluations for Operator Qualification, safety orientations, and refreshers, so every covered-task record shows who sat the test and what the reviewer saw.
Manufacturing
Lockout/tagout, HazCom, and machine-safety assessments verified across every shift, without pulling crews off the line to a testing room.
Transportation & warehousing
Entry-level driver theory assessments and warehouse safety tests taken on a phone or tablet, with proof the passing score belongs to the driver it's submitted for.
Food safety
Food handler and food manager exams verified on any device, so the certificate a health inspector sees belongs to the person on shift.
Public safety & public sector
Browser-based proctoring that clears public-sector IT and privacy review, with records an oversight body can examine line by line.

VERIFIED BY HUMAN REVIEW
An algorithm never decides a worker's result
A trained reviewer examines every flagged session in context, including accommodations, and can conclude the system was wrong. That same judgment catches what algorithms miss, including AI-assisted answers. Human review is built into every session at every price point, not sold as a premium tier.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
"We have put hundreds of thousands of users through this virtual proctoring successfully. Huge cost savings for my clients, in the many many millions of dollars per year in savings by allowing them to move costly in-person only training online. It works with all mainstream browsers and it's extremely easy to use. Having confidence in the knowledge that the people we are issuing safety training completion records to is invaluable."
Preguntas frecuentes
Answers for safety leaders, and for the learners and unions they work with.
A completion record shows a course was finished under a worker's login. A verified record shows the worker was who they said they were, took the assessment under the conditions you set, and that a trained person reviewed anything flagged.
Most rules require an outcome, like verified identity or proof the worker received the training, without prescribing a method. Proctoring is one practical way to produce that evidence, and we're happy to walk through the requirements that apply to your program.
Z490.1-2024 is a voluntary consensus standard covering online and in-person safety training, including evaluation and recordkeeping. Integrity Advocate doesn't certify conformance. We document who was evaluated, how, and what a reviewer saw, which is the evidence your program needs for that part of the standard.
No. OSHA has said online training alone isn't enough without interactive and hands-on components. We secure the knowledge assessment so that part of your blended program holds up. Practical evaluations stay with your instructors.
Yes. Integrity Advocate runs in the browser with nothing to install, so workers can complete training on job sites, in field offices, or on shared devices.
No. Integrity Advocate works within your existing LMS and workflows, including D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Canvas, TalentLMS, and many others.
Each assessment includes time-stamped records, identity verification details, monitoring results, and the reviewer's documented reasoning, ready to support audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
Your program does. We flag against the rules you set, a trained reviewer documents what they observed and why, and the final decision is always yours.
No. The monitored window is a single training session. Nothing continues after it ends, and nothing connects to job performance, productivity, or location.
We collect only what's necessary and keep it only as long as your program's requirements call for. Learners can cover sensitive details on their ID; only a name and photo are needed.
Yes. Every plan, from low-stakes orientations to high-stakes certification exams, includes a trained reviewer who examines each flagged session before a result is issued.

Your training records should be ready for anything
In 30 minutes, we'll walk through one of your online or blended courses: how workers verify identity, what our reviewers check, and the record you'd have if a result were ever questioned.
