A US federal judge stated in the judgement that not only are room scans a violation of the 4th amendment but that “room scans have minimal value for preserving test integrity because there are numerous ways students could cheat that they would not catch (Id., PageID #492.)”Integrity Advocate has NEVER utilized room scans for the stated reason they are “theatre”, and simply violate student privacy without the slightest benefit to academic integrity.
