What are the types of online proctoring?

Live proctoring
A person watches the test taker over video in real time. It brings human judgment, but depends on booking, can feel intrusive, and becomes costly to schedule at scale.
Automated proctoring
AI flags behaviour that looks unusual. It scales easily, but an automated flag isn't a decision. It's a signal that something looked different, with no one checking it in context.
